Born in Georgia, moved to and graduated high school from New York. Then I got accepted into my dream school, which is The Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. From there, I graduated early with my Bachelor’s in Pre-Occupational Therapy and now I’m currently studying to get my Masters.
Wouldn’t that have been lovely? Well y’all, instead of graduating early, something better happened instead.
His name happens to be Jahseh, but we call him Jah. My boyfriend of 3 years and I had our blessing, which led to my life taking an 180 degree turn. The destination is still the same, but the journey changed drastically.
What do you do when life doesn’t go as planned and you feel stuck? You adjust, think of another plan, and then when that plan doesn’t work.. You start over until you reach success. That’s what I’m doing now. Regenerating myself while still reaching for that end goal.
Life doesn’t go as planned, but it always goes as it’s supposed to. I’m dedicated to becoming my best self, while also killing the mom thing.

This is for women on a mission, or who can just relate. I like to write, and I decided to document this journey of mine. Maybe this blog can help future moms prepare, or women find comfort in knowing they aren’t alone. Every day is a new chance, and every day is a new lesson. I learn, grow, and adjust.
My life isn’t glamorous, but it will be. There’s beauty in the now, and I plan to document every moment of it. So.. here’s to the journey.
